Second order vertical control mark set in 1954. It is set in a concrete monument, flush with the ground. A steel spike set next to the monument makes it magnetic.
Elevation is 1058.859 feet, with an accuracy of 0.016 foot. Horizontal coordinates were established by GPS observation, and adjusted by NGS in 2012.
It is in the northeast quarter of Section 7, Township 156 N, Range 45W.
The disk has some scallops and scrapes, probably from a lawnmower, but the stamping is still legible and the mark in the center is intact.
7 MILES WEST OF NEW FOLDEN, 6.85 MILES WEST ALONG COUNTY ROAD 4 FROM JUNCTION OF COUNTY ROAD 4 AND TRUNK HIGHWAY 59 IN NEW FOLDEN, THEN 0.05 MILE SOUTH ON COUNTY ROAD 38, BY MARSHGROVE TOWNHALL, AT SOUTHEAST CORNER OF CEMETERY, 9.5 FEET SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SOUTH WINDAHL TOMBSTONE, 7.7 FEET NORTH OF WITNESS POST.
