The John Minto House is a two story vernacular farmhouse. Built in 1869, this is the southernmost of a three house ensemble that was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The house originally stood 100 yards to the north, roughly between the other two houses now at that site. It was relocated to it's present spot in 1918. It has an L-shaped plan and a gable roof with a front porch and a chimney at the south end. John Minto, born in England in 1822, moved to Oregon in 1844 and became a prominent sheep farmer and a Republican representative to the Oregon legislature from the 1860s to 1890s. Today the house provides office space for an attorney.
