First United Methodist Church was organized in Westfield, MA 1794. After meeting at several sites the church on Court Street was constructed in 1875. The church was restored in 1968.
During the restoration, the original church bell was put on display in the front courtyard of the church. The bell is attached to a yoke and rests on a square concrete base.
The bell is inscribe around the rim.
