The Red Telephone Box is not accessible to the public for its own protection. It is a vivid reminder of our past experience with public phones & an attraction in its own right. The building behind is the former Post Office which is heritage listed & was constructed in 1890. I could see inside the box & a disconnected cable was evident as was the shelf however the reflection from the glass prevented a photograph of these.

I recall these red telephone boxes & how difficult they were to open. I never gave a thought though that they would have been imported from England.
Colour: It's red!

Is it in its original position?: Not sure

Is there a working telephone in it?: No
