This manhole cover was designed by Laurel Sanders and was inspired by the lyrics from Bob Dylan's song "Subterranean Homesick Blues." It is one of two covers installed to commemorate Dylan's 70th birthday on May 24 2011. Bob Dylan (Robert Zimmerman) was born in Duluth in 1941.
