A 4' high by 4' wide red granite monument rests on a granite plinth and a cement base. The monument has an unpolished beveled top containing a dedication to wounded veterans. The face is polished around three unpolished rectangles that contain inscriptions.
The beveled top of the monument has the dedication:
DEDICATED TO ALL MEN AND WOMEN
WOUNDED IN ALL WARS
The left side of the face of the monument contains a purple, gold and green image of the Purple Heart medal with the inscription, in an oval around the medal:
MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART
1782 - 1932
In a three sides of a square around the medal:
COMBAT WOUNDED VETERANS
To the right of the medal is inscribed:
MY STONE IS RED FOR
THE BLOOD THEY SHED
THE MEDAL I BEAR
IS MY COUNTRY'S WAY
