A beautiful collection of gems & minerals for viewing and in some case for sale.
Over 2 floors of display area the Herkimer Diamond Mines Resort today boasts the largest jewelry, rock and gem store in the Northeast. An extensive museum with authentic fossilized dinosaurs has been expanded to include a Herkimer Diamond Hall of Fame, a new Children’s Reading Room and an exhibit of the largest and finest cut Herkimer Diamonds. Fondly referred to as Randy, the museum also showcases an authentic dinosaur skull.
A Herkimer Diamond cluster in the formation of a cross was found the morning of September 11, 2001, at The Herkimer Diamond Mines. This is one of the most beautiful and unusual clusters ever found here.
