Loulé is one of the main municipalities of Southern Portugal - Algarve. This flag is near the access to the beach of Quinta do Lago. The flag shows an orange tree (oranges are one of the gems of Algarve, along with the beaches and good weather), a castle and two faces: a medieval Christian and a Muslim, probably representing the Arabic influence in the region until mid 13th Century.
