A pair of fiberglass dinosaur statues greet visitors near the entrance to the Connecticut Children's Museum. The dinosaurs are side-by-side in a circular area on the entrance path.
The larger of the two is a full size, 7' high by 15' long, version of a velociraptor, "swift seizer". He strikes a menacing with his mouth open, teeth showing and front limb claws ready to strike. His tail is curved behind him, parallel to the ground for balance.
The smaller dinosaur appears to be a small version, 5.5' high, of an allosaurus, "different lizard". This big-headed dinosaur is a smaller version of the T-Rex. He is the more placid of the two with a relaxed pose and a seemingly friendly smile. His tail drags behind him on the ground.
