"Conny" is a 60' long and 8' high accurate life-size replica of a sperm whale that is located outside the Connecticut Children's Museum in West Hartford, CT. The whale is named "Conny" since the sperm whale is Connecticut's state animal.
"Conny" is constructed of cement layered over a steel framework and is raised off the ground by two concrete supports. A walkway leads up to an entrance door on the right side of the dark blue-gray whale, just beyond the right eye. A few feet to the left is the exit door. You can walk up and down the whale in both directions.
There is no fee to visit the whale.
