The final resting place of Ella Adams is at the northeast corner of Fairlawn Cemetery, at the south end of the section. Hers is a horizontal marker near a family monument.

1889: The Eiffel Tower is inaugurated

1909: Robert Peary, Matthew Henson, and four Eskimo explorers come within a few miles of the North Pole.
1919: Romania annexes Transylvania.
1929: Herbert Hoover is inaugurated as the 31st President of the United States, succeeding Calvin Coolidge.
1939: Billie Holiday records "Strange Fruit", the first anti-lynching song.
1949: World heavyweight boxing champion Joe Louis retires.
