The Griffith--McCune Farmstead Octagon Barn was built 1909-10. The eight-side barn is 60-foot in diameter. The barn features a silo in its center which is also eight-sided and extends through the roof of the barn with its roof forming the center portion of the barn's roof.
The barn is a contributing building in the Griffith--McCune Farmstead Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
