Bonnie View is a lookout in the western section of this vast national park.

The lookout is accessed by a flight of steps & you stand on the sandstone plateau with views extending to the far south over the valley formed by Bundanoon Creek.

Unlike the lookouts near Fitzroy Falls in the northern section of the park, these are less visited & tend to have a sign at the beginning of the walk to the lookout. There are extensive walks in this section of the the national park & many have lookouts. I obtained a map of the walks, roads & lookouts from the Bundanoon village's website: (visit link) plus the national park's visitors centre at Fitzroy Falls has information.

At the top of the stairs there is an attractive scribbly gum & at the lookout an Xanthorrhoea, a plant used extensively by Aborigines before European settlement.
