The Baroque chateau originated through Renaissance and later Baroque adaptations of the original medieval castle. From 1387 to 1945 it belonged to the Lichtenštejns who invited famous architects and artists to adapt and decorate it. The chateau is surrounded by a well-kept park with several Empire garden buildings. Period furnishings in the chateau.

Barokní zámek, vznikl z puvodního hradu z 12. stol. renesancní, po poškození Švédy v r. 1646 pak barokní prestavbou. Od r. 1387 do r. 1945 patril Lichtenštejnum, kterí k jeho úpravám a bohaté výzdobe zvali významné architekty a umelce. Kolem zámku je upravený park s radou empírových zahradních staveb. V zámku je slohové vybavení.
