This lion statue stands in front of the Holsinger Lion's Den in downtown Perkins.

This building, constructed in 1980, although located amid the downtown Historic District, is not a contributing building. It houses the Holsinger Lion's Club which meets at noon each Wednesday.

Standing on a stone block next to the entrance is a small lion statue, representative of the club's symbol. It is approximately two feet high and constructed most likely of masonry materials. It is painted gold. The lion is sitting, with its right paw extended.
