The window is situated in The St. James' Chapel, All Saints Church.
It is in memory of the 26 children killed in the Huskar Mine Disaster 4th July 1838.Their names are worked into the lower part of the window.

The window was made in 2010 by more than a 100 people, designed by Julie Tyler and interpreted by Rachel Poole. These details are from the description panel in the chapel.

Fifteen boys and eleven girls were killed when the the mine flooded. They are buried in the churchyard and there is a Monument to them also in the churchyard. -
