The sculpture consists of a single piece of rusted steel that is bent over in the center to create two individual silhouettes, one behind the other, with their raised arms forming an arc over them. There are two Japanese characters on the face of the figure in the foreground, one takes the place of the figure's left eye and translated is the word "seven" while the other Japanese character takes the place of the figure's mouth and translated is the word "potatoes". This is explained on a plaque by the sculpture.
