This barn can be found at the road through the vineyards north of Gordemo up to the famous Verzasca or Contra Dam.

This small barn is a typical well-preserved example for traditional barns in the Alpine regions of Northern Ticino. This barn is still in active use.

The barn is built of raw cobblestones. It has no real windows, only thin slots in the walls. The roof is covered with raw slate plates. The door lintel is timber, there is also a timber joist visible in the wall next to the door.
