Located in San Juan Capistrano's El Camino Real Park...very close to the famous Mission San Juan Capistrano.
It is set next to a a tree planted to celebrate America's Bicentennial in 1976 and the small plaque reads:
"SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
BICENTENNIAL TIME CAPSULE
PLACED NOVEMBER 1, 1976
TO BE OPENED NOVEMBER 1, 2076"
