The Twin Lakes/Mammoth Mountain Trail is a five Mile hiking trail to the summit of Mammoth Mountain. The hike is considered strenuous. Scenic points along the trail include the Bottomless Pit and the Seven Lakes View. A mileage sign at the trailhead incorrectly states the mileage as four miles. At one point there is a fork in the trail which provides two options "Easy" and "Less Demanding." We chose the easy way.
