Found this ghost bike secured to a highway sign in St. Augustine Florida. No markers were present to mark the passing, but many flowers and other memorial items were on the bike itself. This ghost bike was dedicated a brave cyclist who rode his bicycle on an extended trip from Michigan to Key West. During the journey he passed through St. Augustine and decided to take up residence here. Christian Schroom began work at the local Red Lobster restaurant and was loved by many in the community. He was hit by two different drivers who both fled the scene and were never arrested or identified. His undamaged bike stands as a memorial to Chrisitan.
