This barn is just south of Pilot Grove, on Highway 135. It is listed as MO-27-04 on the Missouri Barn Quilts List.

The farm of Thomas and Amy Watring is located at 12221 Highway 135 South, 0.95 miles from the interesection of Roe Street and Highway 135 (College Street) in Pilot Grove. It is located on the east side of the road.

There are a variety of quilt patterns with the name Liberty Star. This pattern has a large red pinwheel at the center, formed by four triangles. In each corner, on a white background, is a blue triangle. The barn is red and the white background of the block makes it stand out nicely.
