Ponte Brolla is the name of this bridge that crosses the spectacular Maggia river gorge between Locarno and Tegna. The bridge has a height of 33 meters and is only about 60 meters wide.

The ancient Romans built the first bridge here, the current one dates back to 1923 when the Centovalli railway line opened.

The best view to the bridge and the gorge is from the terrace of the restaurant in the corner of the road to Maggia valley.
