Granite slab with two statues.

On the front and back (North and South sides) in the inscription

"Vicksburg Warren County Memorial
Let us hold in honored memory those who died for their country in the World War 1917-1918"

The shaft is mostly unadorned, except for a Caduceus (twin entwined snakes and a winged staff) on the north side, and a biplane on the top and crossed cannons on the bottom of the south side.

On the eastern side of the monument is the statue of a sailor in uniform. On the western side is a soldier in full uniform holding a Springfield rifle in front of him.

The monument was restored in 2005 by the Rotary Club. A plaque on the ground on the North side indicates "Restored by the Rotary Club of Vicksburg in commemoration of the centennial observation of Rotary International 2005"
