This colorful red barn stands in the rolling countryside northwest of Franklin. The farm is owned by Howard Robertson and is addressed 5443 Highway 87.

The Dresden Plate pattern was one of the most popular quilt patterns of the 1920s and 1930s. It is reflective of the Victorian Era with its elaborate decorative household decor. Dresden, Germany was the center of the 19th Century romanticism movement in art, which used fancy floral, fruit and foliage decoration.
