This part of London, to the south east of Tower Bridge, had may warehouses and associated wharves fronting on to the River Thames. "Reed's Wharf" is one such warehouse. The sign is on the landward side of the building - the river is on the otherside. These warehouses have, over the years, been converted to apartments with some exchanging hands for in excess of £1M.
