Text of the plaque in front of the house :
“Charles Robinson, a carpenter, built this house for himself when Britannia Village was becoming a popular summer community. The building’s irregular roofline, shingled gable ends and upper bvay wrapped by a seven-sided porch with a conical roof, show the influence of the Queen Anne revival style popular at the time for resort architecture.”
