The original pendulum was given to the church in Brouwershaven just before a great renovation in Veere in 2001. From may 2007 there is a new Foucault Pendulum in Veere constructed by Kees Wijker. The church (1521) is no longer in service, it's now in use for culture events and exhibitions (www.muziekpodiumzeeland.nl) in the historic fortress town town of Veere.
