Mark Twain School

Built in 1910 on PB & Ironton Road (Main Street) at cost of $11,300.46.  Served Poplar Bluff as elementary school for 78 years.  Sold to the City of Poplar Bluff 1988 for the sum of one dollar to serve as Poplar Bluff Museum.

Marker Presented 1992 In Memory of Donna Moulton

Poplar Bluff Museum Association 


The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
