Henderson, KY is home to many Baptist churches, but one of the biggest is Immanuel Baptist Temple, or IBT for short.

IBT was started as a mission out of First Baptist Church of Henderson. IBT had its first service on August 9, 1914. There were 153 members present for the opening day services, most coming from First Baptist Church. The first pastor and most of the office holders were from First Baptist as well.

The church is located on 2nd St near downtown Henderson. It is across the street from another large church, Holy Name Catholic Church.
