This oddball museum is the Santa Claus Museum in Santa Claus, IN. The museum is to preserve the history of the town of Santa Claus, formerly known as Santa Fe, IN.
The town origins go back to 1849 and has grown from around 65 people to now over 2,300 people.
The museum traces the history of the town, the growth of the town thanks to the Koch family (owners of the museum and the nearby Holiday World amusement park. The former world-famous Santa Claus portrayer, Jim Yellig, is also a feature of the museum.
