Port Hudson Lake near Gerald, MO is a 50 acre lake. The drive through the country to get here is very scenic. The lake has cat fish, crappie, bass and sun fish. There is a good ramp, courtesy dock and ample parking. A boat isn't required but you have access to a lot more water with one. This is an electric lake only, you can't operate your gas motor. This lake is great for kayak, canoe fishing also..

"The 225-acre area was acquired in 1989-90 and named after the small community of Port Hudson, located two miles southeast. The 55-acre lake and facilities were developed in 1992 and 1993. Lake elevation is 700 feet. The lake opened for fishing March 31, 1997." (visit link)
