"The back of the base bears the name of E.M. Viquesney, Spencer, Indiana, and the copyright date. This is the last original Viquesney war memorial dedicated. The statue has been recoated and refurbished, including repairs to the Tommy-gun, by Jane Foley."
I used to attend a Chicago history class in the bank building when I was a lad. It took many, many years for me to finally ignite a real interest in that subject.
