This cairn/cenotaph is dedicated to those who died in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. It is located in a small park in downtown Golden. On Remembrance Day, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #122 place wreaths at the Cenotaph (visit link) (visit link) and a coronation celebration of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II took place at the cenotaph on May 12, 1937, under the direction of the Royal Canadian Legion (visit link) .

Description of Memorial:
The memorial is located in a small park in downtown Golden. It is in the form of a stone cairn that has a cross on top. Three plaques are on its front side, one for each of the three wars. On one side is a circular stone insert with a beaver on it. On another side is a circular stone insert with a royal lion on it.
