This cairn/cenotaph was placed in honor of local soldiers who died in the Korean War and World Wars I and II in Golden, British Columbia.

This cairn/cenotaph is dedicated to those who died in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. It is located in a small park in downtown Golden. On Remembrance Day, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #122 place wreaths at the Cenotaph (visit link) (visit link) and a coronation celebration of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II took place at the cenotaph on May 12, 1937, under the direction of the Royal Canadian Legion (visit link) .
