Formerly the Morningside Alpaca farm, Leaholme Rise is a beautiful farm managed by Melanie and Branton Hibbett.
The farm is nestled into the eastern foothills of the berserker range and bounded by State forests and National Parkland.
Because they have tried to maintain over 85% of the property in its natural state for our local flora and fauna they have attained "Land for Wildlife" status through Greening Australia.
The owners believe in a natural and sustainable lifestyle and that is why they chose alpacas, because they are much more environmentally friendly to the ground and provide a lot of resources for their lifestyle. As far as possible the farmers use natural remedies on their alpacas, not chemicals and synthetic medicines. This includes chemicals used on the farm also.
