Long Description:
This landmark is located on east side of US 1 in Cocoa, between
Main and Peachtree Streets (north of SR 520). The building below it
was called the Tiger Den for many years and was a place for local
teens to gather, as well as other community functions. I believe
the American flags were painted on the tower in honor of the
bicentennial in 1976.
TANK IS 88 FEET IN DIAMETER, SUPPORTED BY A 12 LEGGED STEEL
STRUCTURE AND THE TOP OF THE TANK IS ABOUT 165 FEET ABOVE THE
GROUND.
