This group of boutiques in one building is located in the fashionable downtown section of Beverly Hills. The entrance to all the shops is off of a ramp that winds its way upwards in diamond-shaped parallelograms, around a central open well, sort of like an exterior VC Morris giftshop. Four shops were envisioned with the pent-house space, an apartment. This is another example of a secular Wright building with a "steeple". The facade, which was once light buff with oxidized-copper-color trim, has been painted white. A jumble of signs further distorts Wright's intent.
Come enjoy the wonderful angles and shadows of this building. There are no organized tours, but the shops are easily accessible.
