This is one of the nicest bivouac sites I've come across: flat, high with good breezes, and close to both water land outhouse facilities because it is colocated with the Shindagin Leanto.

Pine needle floor means you can anticipate it will be bug-free, and this high spur gets plenty of cool air from the creek bed below. Comes with its own firepit. Share the creek (water source) and pricey with the Leanto users.
