Lyles School is a completely restore school building in Lyles Station, IN. The building is now home to a living history museum, keeping the history of Lyles Station alive.

The school was built in 1918 to serve a community that had recently been partially destroyed by flooding of the Wabash and Patoka and White Rivers. It was the third school building for a settlement of freed Southern slaves that was started by Joshua Lyles in the mid 1800's.

The school served the dwindling settlement until 1958 when it consolidated into the other local school system.

The school building fell into complete ruins after the closure and was about to fall in but was saved in 1997 when a historic perservation organization funded a full restoration of the building.
