US Highway 2 is the major east-west route north of I-94 from Michigan west to Washington so this road is very busy. Near this border, it's a divided 4 lane highway for about a mile and a half with an interchange with US 51 just to the west.
There is a Michigan Welcome Center and Rest Area about 400 yards east of the border and there is a Wisconsin Travel Info Rest Area on US 51 about 400 yards south of US 2.
