Tourtellott, Paris House - Sutton, MA - Pre-Victorian Historic Homes on Waymarking.com

This is a two-story, gable-to-street brick dwelling. Brick was
rarely used in residential construction in Sutton. The gable was
finished with shingles at one time. The front door is a flat arch
with side lights. The porch roof rests on two turned columns and
two applied pilasters.

The bricks for this house were produced in the brick yard on this
property. Paris & George A. Tourtellott moved-an old house to build
this one. For several years they kept the tavern in West Sutton
which still stands at 650 Central Turnpike. Paris married Mary Ann
Stevens and lived here for several years. It was used as the Baptist
parsonage for many years. The house lost part of it's roof in the
1938 hurricane and was made into two apartments in 1941.
