This Windmill is located on the north side of 205th Avenue SW about 12 miles south of Minot and about 0.8 mile east of US Highway 83. It is one component in the Prairie Winds wind farm.

This windmill stands 200 feet tall at the top of the tower and each blade is 100 feet long. There is an interpretive sign and replica blade tip closer to US Highway 83 at the other windmill in this array.
