The EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 3rd and Safford Sts., an adobe structure built in 1881, is the oldest standing Protestant church in Arizona. The interior is simply decorated, having unadorned Gothic arches, high-pitched ceiling, and chandeliers. St. Paul's Episcopal Church is much as described in the Guide. The exterior of the church was stuccoed in 1971 to protect the adobe from the weather. The church continues to serve its active congregation and has weekly services each Sunday at 10:30 am.
