Nelson has more heritage buildings per capita than any other city in BC. Possibly its that heritage status which attracts chimeras. In any event, this fearsome looking chimera appears to be an immigrant from Alberta, "Cowboy Country", as he's still wearing his cowboy hat.

He's probably new to the town given the vantage point that he has chosen. It affords an excellent view of the goings on on Highway 6 as it passes through the centre of Nelson, allowing him to get a feel for the place. The house upon which he is perched fronts the highway and is well above it, giving a view up and down the highway for several blocks.

Note the windshield wipers on the window of the tower just below him. These are somewhat "unusual". Unusual too is the deck on this house, which is shaped like the prow of a boat. Perhaps it's "strangeness" which attracts chimeras.
Water spout is used: no

Condition: Pristine
