Floodwood calls itself the "Catfish Capital"

1952/01/01 by CGS (FIRST OBSERVED)
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1952 (DAJ) STATION IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF THE TOWN OF FLOODWOOD AND ABOUT 50 FEET EAST OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS. IT IS A HIGH ELEVATED TANK, SUPPORTED BY 4 STEEL LEGS AND IS PAINTED A SILVER COLOR. THE CENTER AND TOP OF THE TANK WAS THE POINT INTERSECTED.
