This propeller is one of three on Butler's Wharf on the south side of the River Thames just east of Tower Bridge. This is a pleasant area with seating, dining and bars where one can sit and watch the world go by.

This four-bladed propeller is about one and a half metres in diameter. It has been painted black but, in places, the paint has faded away revealing the metal beneath. The material used appears to be an alloy of aluminium and stainless steel. The edges of the blades are unmarked so it is doubtful that this prop was ever used.

What type and size of ship this propeller would have been manufactured for is unknown.
