Built in 1898 on the corner of Beaufort and Brisbane Sts Highgate as a local working man's pub the character and clientele of The Brisbane remained largely unchanged until a major renovation in 2004 when the European Oak bar, two way stone fire and casual lounge areas were installed
The beer garden has lush gardens,trees palms and a water feature
The upstairs has been renovated as ‘Lazy Susan's Comedy Den', which provides WA audiences with local, national and international comedy acts
