The Ed Nixon Trail runs for 2.25 km around the north and west sides of Langford Lake. The portion at the north end crosses over wetlands on two boardwalks; one of 1030 feet, and one of 160 feet. Much of the vegetation is the same height as the boardwalk, but there are some taller plants and trees that are higher.
