Langford Lake is the largest of the three glacial kettle lakes in Langford. The posted coordinates are for the fishing pier at the northwest end. The Ed Nixon Trail crosses two boardwalks around the north end of the lake, then continues down the west side, with several access to the water and one more fishing pier, before ending at Leigh Road Beach. Two more accesses with piers are located at the southeast end, and one access off Goldstream Avenue on the east side leads to a small beach. The boat ramp at Leigh Road Beach has been recently decommissioned, and a new boat ramp has been constructed at Landing Lane on the west side. There are two small islands in Langford Lake.
